The estate is the family home of Gérard Bertrand, inherited from his father, Georges Bertrand, and is where he performed his first harvest in 1975. The winery is globally recognized for its commitment to biodynamic viticulture and its focus on revealing the unique terroirs of the South of France.
Wine Description
This wine presents a deep garnet or intense purple robe in the glass. The aromatic profile is complex and powerful, featuring notes of jammy blackberry, plum, and black cherry layered with sweet spices, leather, roasted coffee, and hints of clove and licorice. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and round, showing a supple texture and beautiful fruit intensity framed by fine-grained, melted tannins.
