Garrison Brothers PX Sherry Cask Finished Bourbon — Single Barrel Cask Strength
Ranch Reserve Series, Texas Straight Bourbon Whiskey Finished in a Pedro Ximénez Sherry Cask
Garrison Brothers PX Cask Strength Single Barrel is a sherry-finished Ranch Reserve bourbon bottled at barrel proof. This Texas Straight Bourbon Whiskey spent four years in toasted and charred white American oak, then four more in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks from Spain. The result is rich, layered and built for savoring, with notes of raisins, figs and toffee that deepen the whiskey without compromising its Texas backbone.
Pedro Ximénez brings lush fruit, sweetness and weight, but a well-matched PX finish does more: it adds richness without making the bourbon feel heavy and draws out the darker notes already living in the whiskey. The casks were selected with the same care Garrison Brothers gives its own barrels, then tasted month after month until the balance was right. Because every bottle comes a single barrel at cask strength, proof varies by barrel, ranging from 126 to 135 proof.
Tasting Notes
Raisins, figs and toffee, with lush dark fruit and sweetness the Pedro Ximénez finish layered over the rich, full-bodied Texas bourbon, finishing with the depth and intensity of barrel proof.
