Gabbiano Alleanza is produced in the heart of the Chianti Classico region in Tuscany, Italy. The historic Castello di Gabbiano estate dates back to 1480 and follows a winemaking philosophy that emphasizes the 'alliance' between the land and the vine to express the unique Tuscan terroir. Winemaker Federico Cerelli prioritizes elegance, drinkability, and food compatibility over sheer power, ensuring each bottle reflects the estate's 900 year history.
Wine Description
This crimson red wine is clear and vibrant in the glass. The aromatic bouquet is young and intense, offering sweet notes of blackcurrant, dark plum, and cherry-vanilla, accented by spicy hints of clove, cinnamon, and pink pepper. On the palate, the wine is full bodied and well balanced, featuring rich flavours of blackberry and chocolate layered with subtle herbaceous undertones of thyme and sage. The structure is defined by soft, well integrated tannins and a fresh acidity that leads to a long, persistent finish.
