Arturo Fuente Don Carlos Eye of the Shark – Limited Edition Box-Pressed Masterpiece
The Arturo Fuente Don Carlos Eye of the Shark is one of the most iconic and highly sought-after cigars ever released by Arturo Fuente. First introduced in 2015 to honor Carlos Fuente Sr., the patriarch of the Fuente family, this cigar has become a legend in the Don Carlos line and a centerpiece for collectors and aficionados worldwide.
What makes the Eye of the Shark unique is its distinctive vitola—a hybrid design featuring a round cap with a box-pressed foot, similar to the celebrated Fuente Añejo No. 77 Shark, but in a slightly smaller size (5 ¾” x 52). This inventive shape not only sets it apart visually but also delivers a unique smoking experience with impeccable construction and consistent burn.
Expertly crafted at Tabacalera A. Fuente y Cia in the Dominican Republic, the Eye of the Shark is blended with select Dominican tobaccos aged to perfection, wrapped in a rich, flavorful leaf that produces complexity from start to finish. Expect layers of earthiness, leather, bittersweet cocoa, buttered popcorn, and subtle spice, evolving into notes of walnuts, coffee, nutmeg, and cream as the cigar develops.
With medium-to-full body strength and a flavor profile that is both refined and dynamic, this cigar is a testament to the Fuente family’s dedication to excellence and innovation in the art of cigar making.
