French Market Ground Restaurant Blend is a medium-dark, 12oz ground coffee blended with imported French chicory to deliver a bold, smooth cup inspired by New Orleans tradition.
This coffee combines 100% Arabica beans with carefully roasted French chicory, handcrafted in small batches by experienced roasters. The result is a robust, caramel-leaning profile with lower acidity and no harsh bitterness, designed to recreate the flavor heritage French Market has refined since 1890.
What makes this blend taste like New Orleans?
The signature comes from the addition of imported French chicory and a medium-dark roast that brings out deep caramel and toasted notes. Small-batch roasting helps preserve nuance while creating the bold presence associated with classic café-style coffee.
- 100% Arabica beans sourced for quality and balance
- Imported French chicory blended for smoothness and body
- Medium-dark roast emphasizes caramelization and depth
- Small-batch, handcrafted roasting for consistent flavor
How does this grind work with different brewers?
This product ships pre-ground at a grind suitable for standard drip coffee makers and commercial-style brewers. It performs best when brewed with hot, not boiling, water and a steady extraction time to highlight its smooth finish.

- Produces a clean cup with full body and minimal bitterness
- Adjust water temperature or filter time for personal strength
Is this coffee a good choice for people sensitive to acidity?
The chicory infusion and medium-dark roast reduce perceived acidity compared with many lighter-roasted coffees. While individual tolerance varies, many drinkers notice a gentler finish and less bite than with high-acid beans.
- Chicory softens acidity and adds roundness
- Medium-dark roast lowers sharp, bright acidity
- Delivers a smooth sip suitable for those preferring milder profiles
How is this product responsibly sourced and produced?
French Market emphasizes heritage roasting and programs aimed at supporting farming communities. The brand’s Sustainable Cup Project and long-term relationships with growers promote environmental and social benefits alongside artisanal production.
- Longstanding sourcing relationships for consistent bean quality
- Sustainable Cup Project supports seedlings and farmer livelihoods
- Small-batch roasting reduces waste and preserves flavor integrity
