After the success of the blockbuster El Gueguense line, Nick Melillo and his Foundation Cigar Company followed up with yet another hit, the lusciously unique Upsetters series. With a harmonious character and wildly pleasing concoction of flavors, The Upsetters The Skipper is one titillating cigar that should be on everyone’s “to try” list!
While the Upsetters line itself is inspired by Jamaican legend Lee “Scratch” Perry’s house band and record label of the same name, The Skipper is, of course, an ode to Bob Marley, known as “Skipper” to only his most trusted confidants. An ideal choice to celebrate the international icon, The Upsetters The Skipper is a 4 ½” x 54 Torpedo that will deliver over 45 minutes of peaceful pleasure.
The goodness lies in the Upsetters line’s lavish Nicaraguan tobaccos, which are mixed with Jamaica’s own “cow’s tongue” tobacco leaf and put through a meticulous “Caribbean atmospheric herbal fusion” process. Topped with a Connecticut Shade wrapper leaf, The Upsetters The Skipper enthralls the senses with notes of natural tobacco, earth, and cream that are awash in delectable splashes of sweetness.
