Foro Amaro Speciale is an Italian herbal liqueur formulated by a former pharmacist and produced in Piemonte, a region known for amaro and vermouth. The profile opens with spice, plum, and candied sugar, followed by layered notes of cinnamon, nuts, honey, and herbs. This listing is for one 1 L bottle at 30% ABV (60 proof).
The dark bottle and orange-and-gold label identify the expression as Foro Originale Amaro Speciale, made in Italy from an original recipe. Its balance of sweet fruit, warming spice, and herbal bitterness gives the liqueur enough depth for slow sipping while preserving the structured finish expected from a classic amaro.
Serve neat after dinner, pour over one large cube, or use a measured amount in cocktails that call for an Italian bitter liqueur. A chilled pour can emphasize the herbal side, while room-temperature service brings the sweeter spice and fruit forward. The full 1-liter format works well for a home bar or regular cocktail service.
