Epilobium angustifolium
Fireweed is an exceptionally colourful perennial plant, marking mountain clearings by the tall, long terminal spike-like clusters of pinky purple blossoms. The floral emblem of the Yukon. Growing up to 3 metres tall (3-10 feet) on moist to fairly dry sites, this perennial flower has long been a favourite of beekeepers.
Fireweed is sure to attract butterflies and bees to your garden.
