Felton Road Chardonnay Block 6 is a premium wine sourced from the Block 6 vineyard, situated within the Felton Road estate in Central Otago, New Zealand. This Chardonnay reflects the unique terroir of the region, characterized by schist-based soils and a cool climate. It displays a pale golden hue in the glass, indicative of its purity and elegance. On the nose, aromas of ripe citrus fruits, such as lemon and grapefruit, mingle with delicate floral notes and hints of toasted almonds and flinty minerality. The palate offers a rich and creamy texture, with layers of flavors including ripe peach, nectarine, and subtle oak spice. Well-balanced acidity adds freshness and vibrancy, while the wine's lengthy finish leaves a lingering impression of citrus zest and mineral nuances. Felton Road Chardonnay Block 6 is a sophisticated expression of Central Otago Chardonnay, showcasing both richness and finesse, making it an excellent choice for Chardonnay enthusiasts seeking complexity and depth in their wine.
