Privada Storytelling
The Face To Face Robusto San Andreas is a statement cigar, the kind you light when you want to match strength with elegance. Rolled in the Dominican Republic with tobaccos aged for over three years, it showcases the luxurious depth that time and craft bring together.
The choice of a San Andrés Maduro wrapper sets the stage—dark, toothy, and dripping with natural richness. Beneath it lies an Ecuadorian binder and Nicaraguan fillers, blending earthiness and spice into a medium-to-full-bodied profile that refuses to be ordinary. This is a cigar designed for presence.
From the first draw, bold notes of black pepper and spice awaken the palate, slowly evolving into chocolate, roasted coffee, and a smooth cream finish. It’s a journey that balances raw power with refinement, the kind of cigar that feels as comfortable in the lounge as it does paired with a late-night bourbon.
Flavor Journey
First Third: Black pepper and spice dominate early, setting a bold tone. Dark chocolate and roasted coffee emerge, layered with cedar.
Second Third: Spice mellows as creamy textures begin to balance the profile. Chocolate and coffee deepen, with a subtle earthiness adding complexity.
Final Third: Strength builds again toward the close, with black pepper returning alongside dark cocoa, espresso, and a lingering cream finish.
Why It Belongs in Privada
The Face To Face Robusto San Andreas belongs in Privada because it is both bold and elegant—a perfect example of what happens when aged tobaccos and skilled craftsmanship collide. It is not a cigar for the timid, but rather for those who want complexity, presence, and a smoke that lives up to its name: face to face, without compromise.
