Fabio Gea Onde Gravitazionali is a red blend from the Langhe region in Piedmont, Italy. The wine combines 81% Barbera, 18% Nebbiolo, and 1% unidentified white grape varieties, sourced from a small vineyard with vines aged between 10 and 50 years. The vineyard's diverse soils and favorable microclimate contribute to the grapes' optimal ripening and flavor development. Gea employs organic farming practices, emphasizing minimal intervention to preserve the natural expression of the terroir. The grapes undergo spontaneous fermentation in the cellar with native yeasts in sandstone vessels, followed by aging in the same containers. This approach enhances the wine's purity and allows the unique characteristics of each grape variety to shine through.
