Ernesto Perez-Carrillo has always explored the boundaries of what's capable with cigar craft, leading the charge for making big-diameter cigars part of the cigar mainstream. Perez-Carrillo showcases his blending skills to the max through a collaboration with the Plasencia family: The INCH Nicaragua series. The INCH Nicaragua No. 64 is a monstrous 6 1/8" x 64 example of why these massive Nicaraguan Puros set the standard for big smokes.
The EP Carrillo INCH Nicaragua No. 64 is a full inch in diameter, allowing Perez-Carrillo to pull out all the stops in blending Plasencia-grown tobacco from Nicaragua's famous Condega, Esteli, and Jalapa regions. The shade-grown Jalapa wrapper crowns the lavish blend to deliver a long, sumptuous, memorable smoke.
The INCH Nicaragua No. 64 is a medium-plus excursion noted by core earth, wood, nut, and pepper flavors. Waves of sweet and spicy nuances roll over the palate as the No. 64 stretches past the midway point, settling into a medium-full character for the duration of the journey. Yeasty and creamy notes join a touch of chocolate for a rousing climax and deeply rewarding end finale.
No gimmicks here. The EP Carrillo INCH Nicaragua No. 64 is the real deal, providing giant-sized entertainment that is exhilarating, satisfying, and approachable. So, settle in for the long haul and enjoy the richness and complexity of a giant Puro, the INCH Nicaragua No. 64.
