Vartan the Dragon is one of the most exclusive cigars ever produced by El Septimo Geneva, released as part of the prestigious Emperor Collection. This ultra-luxury cigar represents the pinnacle of modern cigar craftsmanship and has already earned high acclaim, including being named Robb Report’s Top Splurge of 2025.
Inspired by Vartan Mamikonian, the legendary Armenian general known for his courage during the Battle of Avarayr in 451 AD, this cigar honors a legacy of bravery, heritage, and unwavering devotion. It also pays tribute to Vartan Seferian, owner of Ambassador Fine Cigars, El Septimo’s top U.S. retailer for three consecutive years.
What sets Vartan the Dragon apart is its uncompromising approach to blending and construction. Over one thousand blend trials were conducted across two years to achieve its final profile. Every leaf in the blend is aged an extraordinary fifteen years, creating a depth of flavor that few cigars in the world can match. Each cigar is hand-rolled to perfection, using only top-tier tobaccos from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Honduras, and Costa Rica.
The smoking experience is defined by velvety richness, dense aromatic smoke, and exceptional balance, delivering a profile that customers consistently describe as one of the finest ever crafted. With only a limited quantity available, Vartan the Dragon stands as a collectible masterpiece for aficionados seeking a rare, transcendent cigar.
Vartan the Dragon by El Septimo is not just a cigar. It is an experience in heritage, luxury, and absolute craftsmanship, created for those who demand the extraordinary.
