Eau Claire Distillery Stampede Rye is a proudly Albertan spirit crafted as the official whisky of the iconic Calgary Stampede. Distilled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in Turner Valley, this authentic Canadian rye whisky is made using the finest locally sourced grains. It offers an approachable and classic rye profile, greeting the nose with inviting aromas of toasted caramel, sweet vanilla, and a dusting of baking spices. On the palate, it is remarkably smooth and well-balanced, delivering notes of sweet orchard fruit, honey, and a signature peppery rye spice that carries through to a warm, lingering finish. It is perfect for sipping neat, on the rocks, or mixed into a classic Rye & Ginger or Old Fashioned.
Food Pairing: Grilled ribeye steak, sticky BBQ pork ribs, smoked gouda cheese, spicy chili, and maple-glazed root vegetables.
