Wrapper: Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro
Binder: Nicaraguan
Filler: Nicaraguan
Profile: Medium+
The Umbagog is a rugged, no nonsense maduro from Steve Saka, built for real world smoking without sacrificing flavor or quality. Using the same Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper found on the Mi Querida line, these leaves were set aside due to minor visual imperfections, proving that appearance has nothing to do with performance.
Underneath, a core of Nicaraguan tobaccos delivers a medium plus profile packed with character. Expect bold notes of oak, earth, grass, cocoa, and strong espresso, layered with a distinct sweetness and peppery edge that defines Saka’s blending style.
Named after one of the most pristine wilderness lakes in the United States, Umbagog reflects that same spirit of simplicity and enjoyment. It is a cigar designed to be durable, easy burning, and dependable, perfect for everyday moments whether you are outdoors, on the move, or just unwinding.
Honest, flavorful, and built to be smoked without pretense, Umbagog delivers a satisfying experience that proves great cigars do not need to be perfect to be exceptional.
