Steve Saka made a name for himself as Drew Estate’s top boss and then set out to create his own cigar company, Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust (DT&T). His stunning first release Sobremesa was followed by another knockout Mi Querida which has lead the way for yet another crowd-pleasing line of delectable treats: Umbagog.
Named after one of Saka’s favorite fishing destinations in his home state of New Hampshire, the Umbagog series features Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos which are nestled inside of a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper once destined for Mi Querida cigars. Not living up to his exacting standards, Saka decided to use these discarded wrappers to make a whole new, more affordable DT&T cigar. The result is truly the stuff of legend!
The 7” x 50 Umbagog Churchill that emerges from this incredible blend is a fantastically engaging medium-to-full bodied smoke loaded with lively pepper, cedar and spice which join forces with dark chocolate and licorice nuances as the delicious escape inches towards a thick and gratifying finale.
The Umbagog Churchill by Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust is the ultimate choice for the great outdoors-loving cigar enthusiasts who desires a bold, yet smooth premium cigar that offers a whole lot of bang for the buck. This hour and a half or so smoke is a workhorse that belongs in your humidor!
