Introduction:
Drumshanbo Gunpowder Sardinian Citrus Irish Gin is a vibrant and exotic expression from The Shed Distillery in Ireland. Infused with rare citrus fruit from Sardinia and traditional Gunpowder tea, it delivers a bold yet refreshing balance of zesty brightness and botanical depth — a true celebration of craftsmanship and innovation.
Tasting Notes:
-
Nose: Fresh aromas of citrus zest, juniper, and subtle green tea, with hints of spice and floral undertones.
-
Palate: Crisp and lively with layers of lemon, grapefruit, and exotic botanicals balanced by the earthy smoothness of Gunpowder tea.
-
Finish: Clean, refreshing, and gently spiced with lingering notes of citrus and herbal complexity.
Pairings:
Best enjoyed in a classic gin and tonic with a slice of citrus or fresh rosemary. Pairs beautifully with seafood, sushi, or light salads, and also shines in citrus-forward cocktails like a Negroni or Martini twist.
