Drew Estate’s Undercrown series is a cigar lover’s paradise loaded with richly textured, uniquely flavorful smokes. While the original Undercrown set a new standard for Maduro sticks, the Undercrown Shade does the same for Connecticut-wrapped smokes. The Undercrown Shade blend brings a deeper complexity to the Connecticut experience, striking a balance between elegance and richness.
The Undercrown Shade Flying Pig is a savory 3 15/16” x 60 chubster built around a filler blend of Dominican Criollo ’98, Nicaraguan Corojo, and Criollo leaves held together by an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder leaf. An opulent Connecticut Shade wrapper from Ecuador completes the eye-catching Flying Pig, one of Drew Estate’s most popular sizes.
The Undercrown Shade Flying Pig opens up with a provocative mix of earth, white pepper, baking spice, caramel, and salted nut flavors. Sweet and tart undercurrents tease with each puff, while the finish is toasty, creamy, and lavishly entertaining. The smoke is medium-bodied and unexpectedly long-lasting.
Drew Estate’s Undercrown Shade blend meets Drew Estate’s famous Flying Pig shape to deliver a one-of-a-kind experience. The elegance of the Connecticut wrapper and the richness for which the Undercrown series has become so well-known is a match made in cigar heaven that you don’t want to miss.
