90 points, Cigar Aficionado
The Drew Estate Undercrown Shade Churchill is a highly refined, traditional vitola that delivers the blend's celebrated elegance in an elongated, classic format. Hand-rolled to perfection, this Churchill is masterfully proportioned to provide an extended, cooler smoking experience, allowing the creamy and complex layers of the blend to gently unfold over a leisurely smoking timeline.
The structural and tobacco specifications of this exact vitola are designed to ensure an exceptionally smooth, slow, and even burn. Cloaked in a flawless, golden-hued Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper, the cigar is bound with a rich Ecuadorian Sumatra leaf and packed with a complex filler blend of Dominican Criollo '98 alongside Nicaraguan Corojo and Criollo long-fillers. This classic 7-inch size guarantees a highly consistent delivery of smooth, nuanced flavours from the first light to the final draw.
