The uber-delicious Undercown Robusto by Drew Estate came about because of the cigar makers’ need for an everyday smoke that did not require dipping into the cache of tobacco destined for regular production Drew Estate cigars. Jonathan Drew was keenly aware that a smoke for Torcedores by Torcedores guaranteed a sumptuously satisfying smoke that should be shared with all!
The Undercrown Robusto is a beefy 5” x 54 stick that is draped in a beautifully dark Otapan Negro Ultimo Corte wrapper leaf from Mexico. Hidden beneath are a T52 Connecticut River Valley Stalk Cut & Cured binder leaf and a bevy of Brazilian Mata Fina and Nicaraguan Cuban Seed filler tobaccos tucked inside to create a voluptuous smoke of nearly an hour.
Once the Undercrown Robusto is set to flame, tantalizing earth, licorice and hickory flavors enrapture the senses, while splashes of vanilla and molasses sweeten up the medium-to-full bodied excursion. Nuances of coffee and leather fill out the complex experience which finishes with a deeply textured flourish of creamy deliciousness.
An amazingly gratifying smoke for the money, the Undercrown Robusto by Drew Estate is a cigar smoking adventure not to be missed! Add these tasty treats to your rotation and savor yet another sensuous smoke that makes Drew Estate one of the best in the business!
