When Jonathan Drew brought Willy Herrera onboard the Drew Estate team, he gave him full access to Drew Estate’s massive stores of tobacco and Herrera trudged through countless blends until finally he struck upon what is now the Herrera Esteli. Silky smooth and filled with all the delicious flavors an aficionado could want, the Herrera Esteli Short Corona Gorda is a 91-rated treasure not to be missed!
The Herrera Esteli Short Corona Gorda is a delightfully balanced 5 ¼” x 46 cigar built around a lush core of Nicaraguan filler tobaccos that have been tucked into a sturdy Honduran binder leaf. A gorgeous Ecuadorian Habano wrapper leaf surrounds it all to create a truly inviting smoke of about 45 minutes.
As the Herrera Esteli Short Corona Gorda eases into form, scrumptious cedar and spice notes enrapture the taste-buds while hints of roasted nuts and oak flitter about the medium-to-full bodied smoke. A thick creaminess runs underneath the entire experience that finishes with both toasty and sweet.
The Herrera Esteli Short Corona Gorda is a magnificently crafted cigar that somehow captures the essence of Cuban cigars of old while maintaining an outside-the-box personality that has made Drew Estate the go-to cigars of the 21st Century. It’s simple… Add these to your rotation without delay!
