The Drew Estate Día de los Muertos cigar is a limited-edition masterpiece that pays tribute to the vibrant Mexican holiday celebrating life, memory, and tradition. Expertly crafted in Nicaragua, this box-pressed toro (6" × 50) is wrapped in a dark, oily Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrapper that immediately sets the tone for a bold yet balanced smoking experience. Beneath the surface lies a proprietary blend of aged Nicaraguan binder and fillers, finished with a sweetened cap that’s become a signature of the Deadwood Tobacco Co. Sweet Jane line. Each cigar comes dressed in festive marigold-inspired bands and eye-catching orange packaging, echoing the colors and symbolism of Día de los Muertos.
From the first light, the Drew Estate Día de los Muertos Sweet Jane cigar delivers an aromatic and flavorful experience that’s both rich and approachable. The initial notes of cocoa, espresso, and earth are complemented by subtle spice and leather, creating a layered profile that evolves beautifully as you smoke. Midway through, flavors of charred oak, mocha, and black pepper emerge, all balanced by a natural sweetness that lingers pleasantly on the palate. This is a medium-bodied cigar that appeals to both seasoned smokers and those looking to explore something special.
More than just a cigar, the Drew Estate Día de los Muertos edition is a reflection on memory and connection. As Jonathan Drew himself explains, it’s designed to inspire smokers to reflect on loved ones lost and celebrate the lives that continue to shape our stories. The cigar’s design and presentation mirror this intention, making each smoke not just a moment of indulgence, but part of a meaningful ritual. This thoughtful storytelling elevates it beyond a seasonal release — it’s a collector’s item and a conversation starter.
Released annually in limited quantities, the 2025 Drew Estate Día de los Muertos Sweet Jane can be purchased in 20-count boxes or a Pack of 5 here at .
