Florida once had a thriving tobacco-growing industry, yet by 1977 it had all but withered away. Drew Estate and Florida cigar retailer Jeff Borysiewicz are doing their part to bring Florida tobacco back into the spotlight with the 20 Acre Farm series by Drew Estate. At the heart of these exquisite cigars are tobaccos from a 20-acre farm in Central Florida that Borysiewicz has maintained since 2013. Rich and complex, the 20 Acre Farm Gordito is a silky-smooth Sun-kissed crowd-pleaser of the highest order.
The 20 Acre Farm Gordito is a 6” x 60 stick handcrafted in Nicaragua at La Gran Fabrica Drew Estate. The cigar features a gorgeous Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper. Tucked underneath in a Honduran Sun Grown Habano binder are Nicaraguan filler tobaccos from Esteli and Jalapa. The rich Florida Sun Grown tobacco from Borysiewicz’s Clermont, Florida farm is woven into the filler blend.
The cigar’s appealing look and aroma tease the senses to what is to come. The deliciously refined medium-bodied character kicks off with prominent cedar and oak notes. Earth, nut, and spice flavors abound, while peppery undertones spice things up a bit. Sweet citrus and cream flavors keep the journey evolving towards a bold yet beautifully refined finish.
The Drew Estate 20 Acre Farm Gordito is a cedar-wrapped treasure showing off the cigar making expertise of Drew Estate’s team and the strides Borysiewicz has made in resurrecting Florida’s tobacco-growing industry. So, add these unique Drew Estate-crafted smokes to your lineup today.
