Enjoy the familiar flavors of a morning coffee without the caffeine buzz: this 24-count assortment from Double Donut Coffee includes six decaf varieties—Caramel Swirl, Mocha Nut Fudge, Cinnamon Bun, Vanilla Bean, Hazelnut and Glazed Donut—packaged as single-serve pods designed to brew a consistent cup every time. What flavors are included and how do they taste?
The assortment contains six distinct decaf flavored coffees that preserve the character of a medium roast while highlighting dessert-inspired notes. Each flavor has its own profile: caramel sweetness, chocolate and nut depth, warm spice, floral vanilla, toasty hazelnut, and sugary glazed donut aroma.
- Caramel Swirl: buttery, sweet caramel accents over a smooth medium roast base
- Mocha Nut Fudge: chocolate-forward with roasted nut undertones
- Cinnamon Bun: warm cinnamon and sugar notes reminiscent of baked goods
- Vanilla Bean: delicate vanilla aroma with a mellow roast finish
- Hazelnut: nutty, toasted character layered onto medium-roast coffee
- Glazed Donut: sweet, bakery-style fragrance with a mellow coffee backbone
Are these pods compatible with my Keurig machine and recyclable?
Double Donut pods are designed for use with both Keurig 1.0 and 2.0 K-Cup brewers, making them a convenient swap-in for most single-serve machines. The packaging emphasizes recyclability to reduce landfill waste compared with some non-recyclable capsules.
- Compatible with Keurig 1.0 and 2.0 K-Cup brewers
- Pods labeled recyclable—follow local recycling rules for components
- Single-serve portion control for minimal waste and consistent brewing
How strong is the roast and how does decaf affect flavor?
This collection is a medium roast profile, which balances acidity and body to let flavored notes shine without overwhelming brightness. Decaffeination can subtly mute some volatile aromas, but using quality Arabica beans and flavoring techniques preserves the intended taste and mouthfeel.
- Medium roast: balanced body, moderate acidity
- High-quality Arabica beans help retain nuanced flavor after decaffeination
- Flavored notes added to deliver dessert-like profiles without excess bitterness
How should I store and brew these pods for best results?
Store pods in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight to maintain freshness; use within a reasonable timeframe for peak aroma. Brew according to your Keurig machine’s recommended cup size—smaller settings tend to concentrate flavor, larger settings produce a milder cup.
- Keep unopened pods sealed and dry; refrigerating not necessary
- Use machine’s standard medium cup setting for balanced strength
- Experiment with cup size to find preferred flavor intensity
Who this is for: This variety pack suits people who want flavorful decaffeinated coffee—late-shift workers, evening coffee lovers, new parents, or anyone sensitive to caffeine. It’s also a practical gift option: kosher and gluten-free certification, six dessert-inspired flavors, and recyclable pods make it appealing for flavor explorers and eco-minded coffee drinkers alike.
