Vanilla Crème Brûlée Flavored whole bean coffee from Door County Coffee & Tea Co. is a medium-roast Arabica blend infused with rich vanilla custard and caramelized sugar notes for a dessert-like cup.
Hand-roasted in Door County, Wisconsin, this 10 oz bag contains Specialty Class 1 Arabica whole beans that have been air-roasted and lightly flavored to highlight velvety vanilla and brûlée sweetness without overwhelming the coffee’s natural character. The result is a balanced, aromatic coffee designed to brew well in drip machines, French presses, and cold brew setups, giving you about seven pots per bag with a standard drip brewer.
How does this flavored whole bean taste and smell?
The flavor profile centers on smooth vanilla custard with a warm layer of caramelized sugar, producing an inviting dessert aroma. The medium roast preserves the coffee’s natural nuances while letting the flavoring meld seamlessly into each cup.
- Primary notes: vanilla custard and caramelized sugar
- Roast level: medium—balanced body and brightness
- Aroma: sweet, creamy, dessert-like but not cloying
What beans and roasting method are used?
Door County Coffee uses Specialty Class 1 Arabica beans—the top 2% of global coffee—to ensure a clean, high-quality base for the flavoring. Beans are hot air roasted in a fluidized bed roaster, which moves each bean constantly for uniform color and consistent development.
- Bean origin: Specialty Class 1 Arabica
- Roasting: hot air (fluidized air bed) for even roast
- Consistency: small-batch, family-roasted profile
How should I brew and store this coffee for best results?
This whole bean is ready to be ground to your preferred size—coarse for French press, medium for drip brewers, or fine for espresso machines (though flavoring pairs best with drip and press methods). To retain flavor, keep beans in a cool, dark place in an airtight container and grind just before brewing.
- Brewing methods: drip, French press, cold brew; also adaptable to pour-over
- Grinding tip: grind immediately prior to brewing for maximum aroma
- Storage: airtight container away from heat and sunlight
Is this flavored coffee compatible with diet preferences?
The flavored whole bean product contains no sugar, fat, or carbohydrates per 6 oz serving and is free from dairy and gluten, making it suitable for many low-carb and allergy-aware diets. The flavoring is added to the beans, so the brew itself remains free from added sugars unless you sweeten it.
- Diet-friendly: keto-compatible and dairy/gluten-free
- Nutrition: 0 g sugar, 0 g fat, 0 g carbs per 6 oz serving
