This seasonal blend combines 100% Arabica beans with carefully balanced cinnamon flavoring to evoke warm, aromatic notes without overpowering the coffee’s natural character. Ready-to-brew ground coffee simplifies your morning routine—compatible with drip machines, French press, pour-over, and other manual methods—so you can enjoy a consistent autumn-inspired cup at home or at the office.
What flavor profile should I expect from Autumn Spice?
Autumn Spice leans into warm, sweet-spicy tones accentuated by medium roasting that preserves the beans’ natural nuance. The cinnamon infusion creates an inviting aroma and a layered taste that complements but does not mask the coffee base.
- Primary notes: cinnamon warmth and subtly sweet spice
- Roast level: medium, balancing brightness and body
- Bean type: 100% Arabica for smoother, refined flavor
- Finish: gently spiced, clean aftertaste
How should I brew this ground coffee for best results?
This coffee is pre-ground for convenience; brewing method and ratio will shape the final cup. Use a standard 1:15–1:18 coffee-to-water ratio as a starting point, adjust to taste, and choose a method that highlights aromatic top notes—pour-over or French press work especially well.
- Pour-over: accentuates clarity and cinnamon aroma
- French press: enhances body and warmth
- Drip machine: quick, consistent daily brew
- Suggested ratio: 1 gram coffee to 15–18 grams water
What makes this product seasonal, and how long will freshness last?
The blend’s defining characteristic is the added cinnamon flavor, chosen to evoke autumnal notes tied to cooler-weather beverages and baked goods. Freshness depends on storage: keep the sealed 8oz bag in a cool, dark place; once opened, transfer to an airtight container and use within 2–4 weeks for optimal flavor.
- Seasonal element: cinnamon infusion for fall-inspired aroma
- Storage: airtight, cool, and dark location recommended
- Best flavor window: 2–4 weeks after opening
- Unopened shelf life: several months—check packaging for date
Who is this blend best suited for?
Door County Coffee & Tea Co. Autumn Spice is aimed at coffee lovers who enjoy a sweeter, spiced cup without resorting to syrups or added flavorings. It’s ideal for home baristas, small offices, or anyone who wants an easy, seasonal coffee experience straight from an 8oz ground bag. If you prefer bold, smoky roasts or unflavored single-origin coffees, this blend may feel too sweet; for those who appreciate cozy, spice-forward beverages, it’s a convenient seasonal staple.
Pair this coffee with light pastries, apple-based desserts, or cinnamon-tinged breakfast foods to amplify the autumn profile. Whether brewing for one or sharing at a small gathering, the pre-ground format and medium roast make it a versatile option for everyday enjoyment during the cooler months.
