Domaine Prieuré Roch Savigny-lès-Beaune Dessus les Gollardes Rouge 2020 is an extraordinary, highly expressive natural red Burgundy produced by the iconic Domaine Prieuré Roch. Sourced from a 1.15-hectare parcel of Pinot Noir in the elevated lieu-dit "Dessus les Gollardes" sitting above Savigny-lès-Beaune, this cuvée is vinified using whole-cluster organic and biodynamic fruit with zero added sulfites. In the glass, it displays a vibrant ruby hue. The nose opens with an aromatic kaleidoscope of wild strawberries, red cherries, rhubarb, and crushed rose petals accompanied by nuances of tea leaves, game, and delicate earthy spice. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, energetic, and precise, delivering concentrated red fruit flavors underlaid by chalky, fine-grained tannins, vibrant natural acidity, and a long, savory mineral finish.
Food Pairing: Pairs brilliantly with roasted duck breast, pan-seared quail, rack of lamb, wild mushroom risotto, and mild soft cheeses.
