Produced under the Jean-Marie Fourrier négociant label, the 2023 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Aux Malconsorts masterfully balances the inherent power of its prestigious terroir with Fourrier's signature elegance. Intensely perfumed, the nose soars with aromas of dark cherry, wild raspberry, crushed violets, and exotic Asian spices. On the palate, this silky, medium-to-full-bodied Pinot Noir reveals a vivid, juicy core of crunchy red and black fruits layered with subtle hints of blood orange. Framed by exceptionally fine, polished tannins and the vibrant, mouth-watering acidity characteristic of the generous 2023 vintage, it culminates in a remarkably long, saline-driven finish that promises magnificent evolution in the cellar over the next two decades.
