The Caslot family has only owned Domaine de la Chevalerie estate since, oh, 1640. It's pretty safe to say they know what they are doing when it comes to Loire Valley Cabernet Franc. This is as pure an expression of the grape as you are likely to find and one of our best values in the entire store (their pricing hasn't changed in years! Amazing). Iron, pencil, bell pepper--yep it's all there and there in style--backed by wild blackberries and vibrancy for days. This absolutely hits the sweet spot for classic Loire Cab Franc. It's everything we want Loire Valley Cab Franc to be--including the price.
