Dimple Pinch 15 Year Old is one of the most recognizable and historically significant blended Scotch whiskies in the world — instantly identifiable by its iconic three-sided pinched bottle, a design that has been protected and unchanged since it was first introduced in 1893 and remains one of the most distinctive silhouettes in the spirits industry. Created by John Haig & Co., one of Scotland's oldest and most respected distilling families with roots stretching back to the 17th century, Dimple Pinch has long been a symbol of quality, heritage, and understated elegance.
Known as "Dimple" in most of the world and "Pinch" in the United States — a nod to the bottle's distinctive pinched shape — this 15 Year Old expression is crafted from a blend of aged Highland single malts and lighter grain whiskies, each matured for a minimum of 15 years before being married together to produce a whisky of exceptional smoothness, complexity, and refinement. The wire cage that secures the cork is another signature detail that speaks to the brand's Victorian heritage and commitment to craftsmanship.
The nose is elegant and inviting — warm vanilla, ripe orchard fruit, and a gentle honey sweetness, with soft notes of toasted oak, dried fruit, and a subtle floral warmth. On the palate, it's smooth, medium-bodied, and beautifully balanced: toffee, soft malt, green apple, and a gentle warming spice build with a refinement and harmony that reflects 15 years of patient maturation. The finish is clean, medium-length, and gently warming — vanilla, soft fruit, and a whisper of oak fading gracefully.
