Scotland Meets Jalisco
Deanston 15 Year Old Tequila Cask Finish is one of the most unexpected and rewarding expressions the distillery has ever produced — a Highland single malt that has spent 15 years developing its signature organic character before being finished in ex-tequila casks from Jalisco, Mexico. The result is a whisky of genuine surprise and delight: the warm, cereal-forward richness of Deanston meeting the agave sweetness, citrus, and subtle earthiness of tequila in a combination that is both bold and beautifully balanced.
- Nose: Distinctive and inviting — vanilla, honey, and a warm cereal sweetness with a distinctive agave note, fresh citrus, and a gentle earthy warmth from the tequila cask
- Palate: Smooth and layered — toffee, ripe orchard fruit, and a warming spice with a subtle agave sweetness and a clean, organic purity that carries the tequila influence with easy grace
- Finish: Long and warming with lingering honey, citrus, and a clean, agave-spiced oak fade
