Privada Storytelling
The D’Crossier Selección Escogida Lumina is more than a cigar—it’s a declaration of artistry. Handcrafted at Tabacos de Costa Rica by master blenders Isaias Santana Diaz and Andres Leon, the Lumina was conceived exclusively for Privada Cigar Club members. Its name evokes light, clarity, and refinement, fitting for a cigar that radiates elegance with every puff.
Aged five years and dressed in an exquisite Ecuadorian AA+ Habano Claro wrapper, this cigar carries with it the aura of exclusivity and the weight of tradition. Limited in production, the Lancero format embodies restraint and precision, a showcase of how true artisans express themselves in the most delicate vitola. The Lumina is not just smoked—it is experienced, revealing layer after layer like the unfolding of a symphony.
Flavor Journey
-
First Third: Opens with Cuban-style grace, offering creamy sweetness, smooth cedar, and hints of golden honey and apricot. A subtle saltiness weaves in, while the retrohale delivers oak and a dusting of black pepper.
-
Second Third: The profile grows more perfumed, with intensified floral and woody notes. Cream remains abundant, layered with apricot tang and elegant saltiness. The rare-aged tobaccos emerge here, reminding you this is no ordinary Lancero.
-
Final Third: Dried fruits, cream, cedar, and spice converge, finishing with a salted caramel-like sweetness and refined Cuban nostalgia. Each puff is a crescendo of complexity and finesse.
Why It Belongs in Privada
The Lumina is a rare triumph—a cigar that not only embodies the heritage of fine tobacco but elevates it into a luxury experience reserved for the discerning. Its scarcity, meticulous craftsmanship, and Lancero form make it a collector’s dream. For Privada, it represents the pinnacle of what we stand for: authentic artistry, rare aging, and unparalleled exclusivity.
