Dad's Hat is one of the leading voices in the Pennsylvania rye revival — a style that dominated American whiskey before Prohibition and is now being reclaimed by a new generation of distillers. Based in Bristol, Pennsylvania, Dad's Hat uses a high-rye mash bill and traditional Pennsylvania distilling methods to produce ryes with genuine regional character.
The flagship Pennsylvania Straight Rye is where it all starts — the purest expression of the Dad's Hat philosophy. No finishing, no frills, just a clean, grain-forward Pennsylvania rye that honors the state's great whiskey heritage. Spicy, approachable, and endlessly versatile, this is the rye to reach for when you want the real thing.
