Czechvar is the authentic Czech lager brewed by the state-owned Budějovický Budvar brewery in České Budějovice, Czech Republic. While known as Budweiser Budvar throughout most of the world, it is branded as Czechvar in North America. This beer is a cultural icon of the South Bohemian region, where brewing has occurred for over 700 years. It is widely considered one of the finest examples of the Bohemian Pilsner style, adhering to strict traditional methods and using only locally sourced, premium ingredients.
