Cutwater Old Grove Gin is the house gin from Cutwater's San Diego distillery — an 88-proof London Dry-style gin produced with freshly cracked juniper berries for a rich, earthy botanical character influenced by the semi-arid coastal terroir of Southern California, forming the base of the brand's award-winning Gin & Tonic canned cocktail and a versatile stand-alone gin for cocktails and sipping.
Old Grove takes its name and inspiration from the old-growth juniper of the Pacific region. The freshly cracked juniper approach — rather than dried or pre-processed berries — produces a more vivid and expressive botanical character than standard gin production achieves, resulting in a gin with genuine earthy and piney depth alongside the classic London Dry citrus and floral notes. Frequently Asked Questions
What makes Old Grove Gin different from other London Dry gins?
The freshly cracked juniper approach produces a more vivid, earthy, and expressive botanical character than dried berry production achieves. Combined with the semi-arid San Diego coastal terroir and Yuseff Cherney's brewing-trained palate for ingredient quality, Old Grove produces a London Dry gin with more botanical complexity than most at its price point.
