A premium grab‑and‑go Long Island Iced Tea—blending four award-winning Cutwater spirits (vodka, gin, rum, tequila) with citrus and a splash of cola at 13% ABV. It’s bold, boozy, and perfectly balanced for when you want bar-quality convenience.
🎯 Standout Features
-
13% ABV / 355 mL can: Roughly equivalent to two standard shots per can—strong enough to sip slowly or share
-
Gluten‑free and carbonated: Delivers a crisp, effervescent drink without gluten concerns .
-
Award‑winning blend: Honored with multiple Double Gold medals and “Best of Category” at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition (2025), plus accolades from institutions like ADI, NYIWS, and BTI
👃 Aroma & 👄 Flavor
-
Aroma: Bright citrus (lemon, lime) layered over cola sweetness and a subtle boozy lift
-
Palate: Potent alcohol presence, balanced by cola and citrus—foundation is strong spirit-forward with smoother cola nuances
-
Finish: Lingering bite of tequila and cola; some drinkers find the fizz a bit flat, though many appreciate the full-throttle RTD format
📝 Critical Reception
-
BTI score: 86/100, praising its bar-quality feel for an RTD
-
Mixed consumer reviews: Some find it “properly made” and energizing; others feel the alcohol edge is too sharp without enough mixer depth .
🥂 Serving Tips
-
Chill well—serve cold or over ice with a lemon slice to soften the intense alcohol and elevate freshness
-
Pack for parties—great for BBQs, camping, or occasions when you want classic cocktails without measuring.
-
Pace yourself: High proof and full strength—sip slowly or split between two glasses.
✅ Final Take
Cutwater’s Long Island Iced Tea RTD is one of the strongest and most authentically crafted canned cocktails out there—delivering true Long Island flavor in a portable format. It’s ideal for fans of bold RTDs and classic bar cocktails, though not for those seeking something light or subtly flavored.
