Privada Storytelling
Cremo is one of America’s oldest cigar brands, with a history so deep it once sold sticks for just five cents — a price it held onto long into the 1990s. Today, the rebirth of Cremo is centered in Miami, where master-level Cuban rollers preserve traditions that reach back generations. While not as widely known as El Titan de Bronze, Cremo’s Miami factory represents a hidden gem of Cuban artistry, blending heritage with modern refinement.
The Cremo CT OM Aged 1 Year epitomizes this legacy. Aged in Privada’s vaults for twelve months, this cigar embodies the understated elegance of Connecticut-wrapped classics while layering in nuance and depth. It’s the pinnacle of American factory production — a cigar crafted not just to be smoked, but to stand as a living monument to a brand’s enduring commitment to excellence.
Flavor Journey
-
First Third: Opens with toasted almond, faint lemon, and sweet cedar. Creamy Connecticut character shines, softened by a subtle vegetal note that nods to its Cuban-style storage.
-
Second Third: Draw expands, producing richer smoke. Woody flavors intertwine with bourbon-like sweetness, lifted by hints of orange peel and a touch of red pepper spice on the retrohale.
-
Final Third: Focus narrows to wood, cream, and bourbon undertones, finishing mild yet complex, leaving a sophisticated and satisfying aftertaste.
Why It Belongs in Privada
Privada celebrates heritage and authenticity, and few cigars embody both like Cremo CT OM. It bridges America’s cigar history with today’s boutique renaissance, offering members access to a smoke born in one of Miami’s most skilled rolling houses. This is a cigar that reminds us why the Connecticut profile endures — timeless, elegant, and quietly powerful.
