Celebrate the elegance of tradition and the spirit of the Lunar New Year with the Courvoisier L’Essence x Huang Jiannan Lunar New Year Edition. This limited-edition cognac, presented in a 700mL bottle, is a harmonious blend of over 100 rare eaux-de-vie from the prestigious Grande Champagne and Borderies crus, some dating back to the early 20th century. Bottled at 42% ABV, it offers a rich tapestry of flavors that evolve with each sip.
Tasting Notes:
-
Nose: Opens with the warm aromas of sandalwood and cigar leaves, complemented by the delicate perfume of early summer blossoms.
-
Palate: Reveals layers of toffee, marzipan, and fresh honey, leading to a sweet sophistication.
-
Finish: Develops into surprisingly delicate notes of liquorice, dried plum, and apricot, culminating in a decadent and lingering finish.
