Courvoisier Collection Erte Edition No. 4 Cognac is a rare Grande Champagne expression from France, housed in a handcrafted decanter inspired by the long, patient art of ageing. This limited release draws from exceptional eaux-de-vie, including components dating back to the late 19th century, honoring the era of Erte’s birth and the legacy of time itself. Produced in just 12,000 decanters, each piece is silk-screened and hand painted with pigments and 24-carat gold.
In the glass, this cognac opens with deep aromas of dried fruit, orange peel, soft spice, and polished oak. The palate follows with layers of honeyed grape, toasted almond, vanilla, and gentle rancio, finishing long and silky. Crafted from Ugni Blanc grapes and aged patiently in French oak, it is bottled at 40% alcohol by volume.
Best enjoyed neat in a tulip glass, slowly savored to appreciate its evolving depth, this is a collector’s cognac that rewards quiet moments and special occasions alike.
