Small Batch 017 pushes whiskey boundaries. Copper & Cask took an exceptional nine-year MGP bourbon and subjected it to an intense finishing gauntlet. For at least nine months, this robust Indiana distillate rested in a meticulously selected mix of Oloroso Sherry, Tawny Port, Cognac, and Armagnac casks, including ultra-rare vessels that once held twenty- to twenty-five-year-old French brandy. The resulting liquid masterfully balances the raw power of barrel-proof bourbon with the profound dark fruit sweetness of European oak. It demands your absolute attention.
Independent bottlers rewrite modern blending rules. Barrel Master Stephen Corrigan leveraged his immense blending expertise to engineer a precise, complex profile that pairs beautifully with a premium maduro cigar or stands perfectly on its own. Bottled unapologetically at a robust 118.4 proof, this uncut, non-chill-filtered release retains every ounce of viscous texture and flavor compounds that standard filtration processes typically destroy. It commands respect in the glass.
- Uncut and non-chill filtered to preserve intense palate viscosity
- Aged nine full years before undergoing an intricate multi-cask finishing process
- Features finishing casks that previously matured quarter-century-old Armagnac and Cognac
- Strictly limited small-batch release engineered for exceptional depth
