Convene is the latest venture by Dan Kosta, co-founder of the acclaimed Kosta Browne Winery. After selling Kosta Browne, Dan took a hiatus before establishing Convene, bringing along his winemaker from his previous endeavor. This collaboration continues their legacy of crafting exceptional Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines, focusing on premier vineyards within California's esteemed appellations.
Wine Description
The 2022 Convene Russian River Valley Pinot Noir showcases the distinctive terroir of its origin. In the glass, it exhibits a vibrant ruby hue. Aromas of cherry and raspberry are prominent, complemented by subtle notes of rose petals and violets. On the palate, the wine offers luscious flavors of ripe black cherry and blackberry, framed by bright tannins and balanced acidity. The deft use of French oak imparts a touch of elegance, leading to a refined and enduring finish.
