This exceptional wine is part of our Fine Wine Collection.
Winemaking Hand-tended bushvine vineyards, rooted in the sandy soils of the high-altitude slopes, yield fruit with remarkable concentration and finesse. Winemaker's commitment to sustainable farming practices, including the thoughtful cultivation of Rooibos alongside the vineyards, underscores their dedication to preserving the environment and maintaining biodiversity. Generations of dedicated farming ensure that each bottle authentically reflects the natural beauty and vibrant, rugged character of this distinctive terroir.
Vintage The 2024 vintage in Piekenierskloof was shaped by a Mediterranean-like climate, where warm, dry days were tempered by cool mountain nights. The high-altitude vineyards, reaching up to 700 meters, experienced steady breezes that helped maintain balance and freshness in the fruit. Sandy soils with excellent drainage encouraged deep-rooted bushvines to thrive, producing low yields of intensely flavored grapes. With a growing season free from extremes, this harvest captures the essence of the region’s rugged terrain and unique biodiversity.
Pairing Logic This vibrant Grenache Blanc shines alongside an array of fresh and flavorful dishes, thanks to its refreshing brightness and harmonious fruit tones. Its crisp pear and floral notes beautifully complement seafood like seared scallops or grilled shrimp, while the zesty lemon accents enhance tangy Mediterranean mezze and citrus-infused salads. For a richer pairing, creamy risottos or herb-roasted poultry will highlight the wine’s elegant texture, creating a balanced and satisfying dining experience.
