Scotch whisky bottles are like glimpses into history. Beyond just single malts, blends provide insights into the production techniques and values of Scotland's past. As Scotch continuously transforms, blends encapsulate these shifts and innovations.
Trends evolve, and so do the blends. The blended whiskies from the 1970s, '80s, and '90s differ significantly from the contemporary ones, even if the brand remains unchanged. Our Extinct Blends Collection revives four cherished blended Scotches from days gone by, crafted from some of our most unique and treasured whisky reserves. Suitable for a premium online store dedicated to whiskey, wine, and other fine spirits.
Introducing the third offering from the Extinct Blends Quartet: Metropolis. This blend invites you to traverse the vibrant heartbeat of a bustling city across different epochs. The origins of blended Scotch trace back to the urban hubs of Glasgow and Edinburgh, where it was crafted for global cityscapes. Today, the essence of blended Scotch still pulses within the city's walls.
