A juicy, citrus-forward and beautifully clean washed coffee from Peñas Blancas in Huila, Colombia.
This approachable and vibrant coffee comes from the renowned Peñas Blancas central washing station, a collaborative project founded by Nestor Lasso and Jhaon Vergara—two of the leading figures in Colombia's new generation of coffee producers.
Their vision is simple: provide local farmers with access to world-class processing facilities so they can produce exceptional specialty coffee, earn better prices and receive recognition for the quality of their work. By combining modern processing technology with traditional washed methods, Peñas Blancas consistently produces coffees with remarkable clarity and balance.
Roasted light to showcase its bright acidity and refined sweetness, this coffee offers notes of orange marmalade, crisp apple and delicate oolong tea. It's clean, juicy and effortlessly enjoyable—an excellent choice for everyday filter brewing or a vibrant, modern espresso.
