The Cohiba Ámbar is a distinguished offering from Cuba’s most prestigious cigar brand, crafted to embody both elegance and accessibility within the Cohiba portfolio. Introduced at the Habanos Festival in 2021, the Ámbar is named after the warm golden hue of amber, reflecting its smooth, mellow character. It features a 53 ring gauge and a 5.2-inch length, classified under the Placeres vitola, and is exclusively handmade with long filler tobaccos sourced from the Vuelta Abajo region the heartland of premium Cuban tobacco.
The flavor profile is medium-bodied, offering a harmonious balance of sweet wood, soft spices, toasted nuts, and hints of floral honey, making it ideal for those who enjoy complexity without overwhelming strength. As with all Cohibas, the Ámbar benefits from additional fermentation in specially constructed barrels, which helps round out its flavors and enhance its signature smoothness. Whether enjoyed with a morning espresso or a glass of aged rum, the Cohiba Ámbar is a refined cigar that lives up to the brand’s legacy of luxury and sophistication.

About Cohiba:
Cohiba is the crown jewel of Cuban cigars a brand synonymous with prestige, craftsmanship, and luxury. Originally created in 1966 as a private brand exclusively for Fidel Castro and high-ranking Cuban officials, Cohiba cigars were not available to the public until 1982, when they were launched internationally at the World Cup in Spain. Since then, Cohiba has become the most iconic name in Cuban cigars, recognized worldwide for its quality, innovation, and exclusivity.
What sets Cohiba apart is its meticulous production process. The tobacco used in Cohibas comes from the finest fields in the Vuelta Abajo region of Pinar del Río, considered the best tobacco-growing area in the world. Uniquely, Cohiba tobaccos undergo a third fermentation in wooden barrels, which enhances smoothness, complexity, and aroma. The result is a line of cigars that consistently delivers rich, layered flavors with unmatched refinement.
Cohiba offers several distinct lines, including the Linea Clasica, Linea 1492, Maduro 5, and the ultra-premium Behike series. Each line showcases its own character but shares the hallmark richness and elegance that define the brand. Whether you're enjoying a Siglo VI, a Robusto, or a rare Behike, a Cohiba is never just a cigar it's a symbol of excellence, tradition, and the art of Cuban cigar making.
