Coffee Mate Sweetened Original is a non-dairy, concentrated liquid creamer in a tamper-proof pump bottle designed to add a smooth, classic cream-and-sugar flavor to coffee without refrigeration.
This 50.7-ounce Coffee Mate pump bottle delivers a convenient, shelf-stable creamer format intended for busy homes, offices, and foodservice areas. The concentrated formula contains added sugar to maintain stability at room temperature and a proprietary pump that locks to the bottle for safety and easy dispensing. Because the pump is secured once installed, it reduces handling and helps control portions, making it practical for shared beverage stations.
How do I set up and use the pump bottle?
Attach the pump neck to the bottle and press the pump down until it locks in place. To enable the pump, hold the red pump base firmly and turn the top to the left to release the neck so it can depress. If the pump resists after storage, warming the pump under hot water loosens the concentrate so it dispenses smoothly.
- Install pump firmly and twist top left to release for first use
- Pump base locks to bottle to prevent removal for food safety
- Warm pump under hot water if concentrate hardens inside
- Designed for single-handed, portion-controlled dispensing
Does this creamer need refrigeration after opening?
No refrigeration is required for this shelf-stable liquid creamer, thanks to the added sugar and concentrated formula. At room temperature the bottle maintains quality for months; follow the label for the exact opened/closed timeframes and storage recommendations.
- Shelf-stable at room temperature—ideal for break rooms and pantries
- Long shelf life unopened; check packaging for specific dates
- 30-day recommended use window after opening for best flavor
- Avoid refrigerating the bottle to prevent the pump mechanism from clogging
What are the dietary attributes and typical uses?
Coffee Mate Sweetened Original is a non-dairy creamer that’s lactose-free and cholesterol-free, making it a versatile addition for many diets. It’s commonly used in drip coffee, single-serve brewers, and foodservice beverage stations to provide a classic sweet cream taste without dairy milk.
- Non-dairy and lactose-free for dairy-sensitive consumers
- Gluten-free and kosher dairy certified for broader acceptability
- Concentrated formula offers consistent flavor per pump
- Great for offices, cafeterias, and hospitality beverage bars
How do I keep the pump working smoothly in high-use locations?
Make sure the pump is tightened securely at installation and avoid refrigeration to prevent the concentrate from solidifying inside the pump. For occasional clogs, running the pump head under hot water or priming a few pumps clears hardened residue and restores flow.
- Tighten pump base firmly to ensure reliable operation
- Prime with hot water if the pump becomes difficult to depress
- Non-removable pump reduces tampering and waste
- Bulk size and pump make it efficient for high-traffic stations
