Enjoy the sweet, almond-forward character of amaretto without caffeine, brewed quickly in single-serve coffee brewers. These Coffee Beanery pods pair a dessert-style flavor profile with specialty Arabica beans decaffeinated using the chemical-free Swiss Water Process, delivering indulgent taste while keeping caffeine nearly absent. Each box contains twelve pods roasted to a medium level that highlights flavor clarity and smoothness whether you brew hot or iced.
What does the Amaretto Decaf taste like and when is it best?
This blend highlights a pronounced almond-sweetness with warm, rounded roast notes that make it feel dessert-like yet balanced. The medium roast preserves the coffee’s natural acidity and lets the amaretto flavoring shine without overpowering the bean’s character.
- Flavor profile: sweet almond, mild chocolate undertones, low bitterness
- Best served: hot as a post-dinner treat or chilled over ice for a refreshing dessert coffee
- Roast level: medium roast to maintain clarity and smoothness
How is the coffee decaffeinated and how much caffeine remains?
Coffee Beanery uses the Swiss Water Process, a 100% chemical-free method that removes nearly all caffeine while preserving flavor compounds. The resulting pods contain about 99.9% less caffeine than the original beans, making them suitable for late-day enjoyment.
- Decaffeination: Swiss Water Process (chemical-free)
- Caffeine level: approximately 99.9% removed for low-caffeine cups
- Taste retention: method protects aromatic and flavor molecules
Will these pods work with my coffee machine and how should I brew them?
These pods are compatible with standard K-Cup-style single-serve brewers and are sized for ease of use. For best flavor, brew on a 6 oz setting; the pods produce optimal extraction at that volume. Exercise caution removing a used pod as it will be hot and may drip.
- Compatibility: fits most K-Cup compatible machines
- Suggested brew: 6 oz setting for balanced strength and aroma
- Handling tip: tilt pod when removing to avoid drips; do not remove the foil seal before brewing
Are these pods suitable for specific diets or allergies?
Coffee Beanery designs these flavored pods to be broadly accessible and free of common additives. They contain no sugar, lactose, gluten, or artificial sweeteners and are labeled kosher, making them a versatile choice for many dietary preferences.
- Diet-friendly: keto-friendly and zero-calorie when brewed black
- Free from: sugar, lactose, gluten, artificial sweeteners
- Certification: kosher
