Cloudy Bay Te Wahi Pinot Noir
Crafted in the dramatic landscapes of Central Otago, Te Wahi Pinot Noir represents one of the finest expressions of Pinot Noir from New Zealand. High-altitude vineyards, rugged mountain terrain, and a continental climate with warm days and cool nights allow the grapes to develop rich flavour concentration while retaining vibrant acidity.
“Te Wahi,” meaning “the place” in Maori, reflects the unique character of its origin. This wine captures the essence of Central Otago with layered aromatics, depth of fruit, and a refined, silky structure.
- Beautifully expressive aromas of dark cherry and blackberry rise from the glass, accompanied by subtle earthy tones and delicate spice.
- The palate is rich and silky, delivering ripe red and dark fruit flavours.
- Fine tannins and impressive balance.
Excellent with roast duck or game birds.
