Clase Azul Mezcal San Luis Potosí is an ultra-premium artisanal spirit that pays tribute to the rugged landscapes and rich cultural heritage of the Mexican state of San Luis Potosí. Unlike many mezcals that use Espadín agave, this expression is crafted from Green Agave (Agave salmiana), a wild variety native to the region's high-altitude plateaus. The agave is cooked using traditional methods, which imparts a complex, layered profile rather than a purely smoky one. On the nose, it offers a sophisticated bouquet of cooked agave, steamed hay, and green chili, nuanced by delicate notes of wild flowers and chocolate. The palate is full-bodied and silky, showcasing a unique harmony of herbal, mineral, and sweet citrus flavours, leading to a long and elegant finish. The striking red ceramic decanter, handmade by Mexican artisans, is inspired by the traditional craftsmanship of the Huachichil people, making it a true centerpiece for any collection.
