This single-ingredient matcha delivers a vibrant green color, fine texture, and a naturally sweet, grassy flavor profile sourced from trusted growers. The powder is USDA organic and non-GMO, packaged in a resealable pouch to preserve freshness and aroma. It’s crafted for home baristas, bakers, and anyone who wants a flexible, antioxidant-rich ingredient that blends smoothly into drinks and recipes.
How should I use this matcha each morning?
Use one to two teaspoons whisked with hot (not boiling) water for a classic foam-topped matcha. It also mixes easily into milk or milk alternatives for creamy lattes, or into smoothies for a quick green boost without gritty texture.
- Traditional: 1–2 tsp + 2–3 oz hot water, whisk to froth
- Latte: 1–2 tsp + ¼ cup hot water, topped with steamed milk
- Smoothie: 1 tsp blended with fruits, protein, and 8–12 oz liquid
- Baking: 1–2 tbsp per batch for color and mild matcha flavor
What makes this matcha a good choice for cooking and baking?
The powder has a fine, even grind that disperses uniformly in batters and doughs, giving consistent color and flavor without clumps. Its mellow vegetal notes work well in cookies, cakes, frostings, pancakes, and savory applications like dressings or noodles.
- Stable color in baked goods and desserts
- Neutral texture that won’t alter crumb structure
- Mild flavor that pairs with chocolate, citrus, and vanilla
- Easy to measure and fold into wet mixtures or dry blends
Is this matcha suitable for special diets and storage?
Yes — the product is gluten-free and vegan, made from pure ground green tea leaves with no additives. The 16oz pouch seals to lock out air and moisture; storing it in a cool, dark place (or the fridge after opening) preserves color and flavor longer.
- Ingredient: pure organic matcha, no fillers or preservatives
- Diet-friendly: gluten-free, vegan, non-GMO
- Packaging: resealable pouch for freshness retention
- Storage tip: cool, dark place or refrigerated after opening
How does this matcha compare to ceremonial vs. culinary grades?
This is a culinary-grade matcha formulated for flexible kitchen use: it balances bright color and flavor with affordability. While ceremonial grade is tailored for whisked single-serving rituals, this powder is milled for optimal performance in beverages, baking, and cooking.
- Culinary focus: stronger flavor when used in larger quantities
- Works well in heated recipes without losing vibrancy
- Good value for everyday use and experimentation
Who is this for? Chérie Sweet Heart Organic Matcha is ideal for home baristas, bakers, and health-conscious cooks who want a reliable, organic matcha to experiment with drinks and recipes. If you value vivid color, smooth texture, and a resealable 16oz pouch for regular use, this matcha is designed to fit into plant-based, gluten-free, and whole-food kitchens without fuss.
